SARA ARMSTRONG is an interdisciplinary artist who practices in both industrial and fashion design. Her brand SARARMSTRONG has been in her practice as a designer since 2011, garnering her international recognition from publications like: AnOther, Highsnobiety, Vogue UK, Glamour UK and Elle Italia, Elle Mexico, Elle China, Elle Canada, and Fashion Canada. 

Prior to Sara’s current role as an Associate Director of a prestigious fashion college in Vancouver, Canada, Sara graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Intermedia Studio Studies. Sara's formal fine art training, strong understanding of industrial design and very active fashion design career, including costuming in film, television and theatre, makes her the ideal instructor and mentor. Her design practice is lucid yet intuitive and is hinged upon a tactile, hand-worked approach to design and an uncompromising appreciation for authenticity and quality.
